The oxide electronics lab - Research

Research Group members Facilities Collaborations Publications

The group focus on the development of novel materials for sensor technology. The main focus is on synthesis and investigation of epitaxial complex oxide thin films with diverse electronic properties ranging from ferroelectric insulators to metals and superconductors: The study and manipulation of these materials on a sub-micrometer length scale using modern scanning probe techniques (AFM/STM/TEM/scanning auger spectroscopy) opens an experimental gateway to new insight in fundamental physics and oppertunities for novel devices.
