Purpose The purpose of these meetings is primarily to
stimulate contacts and exchange of information between different Scandinavian
teams working in this area. We are trying to obtain support for Ph.D. and
master students - please ask the contact persons for details. Although the
symposium is Scandinavian, foreign participants are welcome, and the meeting
language will be English. As usual, we expect a rather informal tone, the main
goal being to create contacts, not only during the sessions but also by social
activities, both indoors and outdoors (Ustaoset is one of the best cross
country ski stations in Norway). In 1999 there were 56 participants from 5
countries, and 34 presentations were given in 5 sessions.
Proceedings Since 1987 collections of abstracts from these
symposia have been printed. A limited number of back numbers are still
available. The abstracts, prepared ready for printing (see instructions about
format on the WWW page), must be received by us by the first week of March.
