Start from Oslo Airport Fornebu at 11:00 on June 24. On the way north to Lillehammer we drive along Norway's largest lake, Mjøsa, where some of the finest farm land in the country is found. Some of the farms here have been in the same family since the middle ages. At Hamar we will stop for lunch and a visit to the Viking Ship, one of the best known arenas from the 1994 Olympic Games. After arrival in Lillehammer there will be a visit to some of the Olympic arenas before dinner and an overnight stop at the Lillehammer Hotel.
The next day our journey continues north along one of the largest rivers in Norway, Gudbrandsdalslågen, before turning east over the mountains to Røros. This unspoilt old mining town is included on UNESCO's World Heritage List, and we will visit the mining museum, the eighteenth-century church and, if time allows, take a short stroll through this picturesque 350 year old mountain town, before lunch is served at one of the hotels. After lunch the tour continues to Trondheim, with an expected arrival time of 18:00.

July 1: Departure from Trondheim by coach at 08:30. The road climbs towards the Dovre mountain plateau, then turns westward through the majestic mountains of Trollheimen, climbs the zig-zags of Trollstigen and the Eagle's Road to Geiranger, with dinner and an overnight stay at the Union Hotel.
After breakfast the next day the tour continues by ferry along the Geiranger Fjord, one of Norway's most famous tourist attractions, and on to the Briksdal Glacier, where lunch will be served. After lunch, a horse and carriage will take you along the last stretch up to the glacier. From Briksdal the coach will take you to Sunnfjord Hotel in Førde for dinner and an overnight stay.
Next day we continue to Sognefjorden, Norway's longest fjord, with lunch at the famous Kviknes Hotel in Balestrand. In the afternoon we take the boat from Balestrand out of Sognefjord to the city of Bergen. This fine old sea-port, surrounded by seven mountains, has preserved many of its fine Hanseatic warehouses. Dinner and overnight stay at Bryggen Orion Hotel in Bergen.

The
fjords and mountains of Norway
This three-day tour will take you through some of Morway's most spectacular scenery, with high, snow-capped mountains, glaciers and deep fjords.
July 1: Departure from Trondheim by coach at 08:30. The road goes through beautiful scenery towards the ocean and the town of Kristiansund where we stop for lunch. We then continue along the rugged Norwegian coastline with the Atlantic Ocean Road as one of the highlights and a unique nature experience. Facing the open sea the road, constructed from bridges and causeways, connects many small islands and sounds. Overnight stay in Molde, situated in front of the famous Molde-panorama with its 87 mountain peaks.
July 2: The tour continues to Åndalsnes, then "The Golden Route" to Geiranger: 11 zig-zaws up Trollstigen, then another 11 zig-zaws down the Eagle's Road - two of the most famous roads in Norway. After lunch at Union Hotel we then climb up the Geiranger Road and make a stop at one of the most famous viewpoints in Norway, with a breathtaking view of the Geiranger Fjord and surroundings. The tour then continues amid snowcapped mountanins to Lom. Here we will visit the old Lom Stave Church before we continue to Bessheim Mountain Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
July 3: We continue through the mountain range of Jotunheimen with spectacular mountains and beautiful lakes. From Bessheim to Fagernes, where we stop for lunch, you will go through 50 km of mountain world almost without parallell in Europe. The tour then continues to Oslo with overnight stay for those who wish at Radisson SAS Hotel near the airport. The bus will first stop at Oslo Airport Fornebu, expected arrial at 17:30.
