Objectives
The project "Smart Microsystems for
Diagnostic Imaging in medicine" was initiated and started
by Prof. Trond Ytterdal, NTNU. The objectives of this project are:
- To develop robust microsystem technologies for invasive
diagnostic imaging
- To contribute to research and education of
microelectronics for micro-systems
- characterization and electrical modeling of integrated
sensor/actuator with microelectronics
- develop new interfacing electronics suitable for
low-power and integrated sensors
- develop and employ methods and tools for improved
testability of integrated micro systems
- improve methodology, quality measures and use of CAD
tools in the design of microelectronics for micro-systems.
