Objectives

The project "Smart Microsystems for Diagnostic Imaging in medicine" was initiated and started by Prof. Trond Ytterdal, NTNU. The objectives of this project are:
  • To develop robust microsystem technologies for invasive diagnostic imaging
  • To contribute to research and education of microelectronics for micro-systems
  • characterization and electrical modeling of integrated sensor/actuator with microelectronics
  • develop new interfacing electronics suitable for low-power and integrated sensors
  • develop and employ methods and tools for improved testability of integrated micro systems
  • improve methodology, quality measures and use of CAD tools in the design of microelectronics for micro-systems.
